Governance Framework
The governance framework is designed to uphold the highest standards of integrity and efficiency, ensuring that the Programme achieves its objectives and delivers measurable benefits to South Africa’s research ecosystem.
Oversight Committee:
Composed of representatives from the National Research Foundation (NRF), Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), and other key stakeholders, this committee ensures transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment.
Programme Management Team:
Responsible for day-to-day operations, including participant selection, programme coordination, and partnership management.
Advisory Board:
A panel of experts providing strategic advice and guidance on programme development, evaluation, and impact assessment. The advisory board consists of national and international academic experts, ministerial representatives and members of science councils.
